TuxReader is an educational Free-Software project sponsored by Tux4Kids.
It is presently in the early stages of development, but it aims at being an educational tool to
assist children in learning how to read. TuxReader is developed under Linux and will use a
Festival server
for speech synthesis and the SDL Library for graphics.
Because TuxReader uses platform independent libraries and utilities, it should
be easily ported to other OSes.
There isn't much here yet, but you can access our project page on Savannah here,
