Tux of Math Command (TuxMath) is distributed as source code. It was written under Linux using the Gnu C Compiler, but should run under any Unix
flavor. It was also written using SDL for it's graphics and thus should be easily ported to other OSes.
If you are interrested in porting TuxMath to another OS and having your code either
folded back into the TuxMath main trunk, or at least released along side TuxMath, please
see our Developer's Page.
Tux of Math Command Requirements
Tux of Math Command requires SDL, the Simple DirectMedia Layer
graphic library as well as SDL_image to run. It optionally needs SDL_mixer for sound. SDL is a cross-platform graphic library,
whereas SDL_mixer and SDL_image are augmentations to SDL allowing for more audio and image loading/parsing abiilities.
All of these required libraries are open-source free-software.
Where can I get TuxMath?
The latest files are always available on the TuxMath Summary Page
on SourceForge.
