(no other diffs)Linux and Open Source software is constantly evolving. New bugs and holes are found and fixed constantly. This is good thing in that an up-to-date Linux system can be quite secure. But it is a bad thing if you do not keep up on the upgrades.

Also, monitor those pertinant mailing lists associated with critical software on your system. Running Apache? Get on an Apache list. SAMBA a critical part of your infrastructure? Get on a SAMBA list.
