UNIX03/Firewall SOHO

We will now create a faux firewall for a small office or home office (SOHO) network. The instructions for this are on pages 446 through 461.

Note that we are using Debian, so the paths for these things will be different in a few key areas:

  1. The startup scripts go in /etc/init.d and should be symlinking to /etc/rcS.d.
  2. The CD-ROM mounts at /cdrom by default.
  3. iptables is installed in /sbin/iptables
