First of all, bear in mind that ClanAM is not a massively competitive gaming clan! If you are looking for a clan with incredibly skilled players who spend every waking moment improving their game, then keep on looking. ClanAM is really just a bunch of people who like to get together and play multiplayer online games occassionally. We don't aspire to be the best clan out there, nor do we have the time to devote to it.
If, however, you are looking for a fun, laid-back clan that consists primarily of UnixGeeks and LinuxGeeks (though all are welcome) then ClanAM will suit your needs.
Okay, so how do I join?
1) Check the NewbTryouts and see when and where we'll be holding tryouts.
2) Join us at the tryouts, let us know (via some sort of chat) who you are.
3) Play game, have fun.
4) If you liked the game and want to join our clan, please join our ClanAM mailing list (see MailingLists). Your subscription will be held for approval. We might contact you and verify who you are (and who you were in the game). You should know within a few days to a week if you're accepted.
What if you don't play the game I do?
Well, you probably want another clan then don't you? ;-)
Seriously, contact one of us, and let us know what game you want to play. If it is easily available for Linux or one of the video game consoles we support (PS2, Dreamcast, etc) then we might consider it.
If not, go out and get one of our SupportedGames, ya foo....
